Next in our Monuments series of side project releases, a solo album from Lewis made by biting, scratching, banging, drilling, hammering, singing, dropping, swinging, scraping, thumping and occasionally playing a violin through a lot of effects pedals. An iconic vestige of traditional classical music (the violin, not Lewis) that is ripe for mistreating and reinterpreting.

Sounding at times like Gavin Bryars' The Sinking of the Titanic played on a cheap instrument whilst actually sinking, it has a dark, submerged feel made all the more intense by layers of cavernous reverb and echoing, sonar pings.
